Ok... but I'm a wee bit confused - SPT has bought a further two Juniper
units and they propose to open a station at Dawsholm......... As far as I
understand this is a branch of the Maryhill line ? So..... ??!!

So..... ??!!

That is to extend the Glasgow Queen Street to Maryhill line to Anniesland
via Dawsholm. This will continue to be operated by the DMUs that presently
operate the route.

The "extra" Junipers are for the Larkhall extension, however referring to
them the way SPT do is dubious. As far as I know, Alsthom made the 38 unit
order up to 40 units for free due to the problems with introducing the
Junipers.
